As you are well aware they tend to be...enthusiastic when talking about their signees.

Yaisel Mederos has played for the Toros de Camag?ey in the Cuban Serie Nacional. He debuted in 2008-2009, going 2 for 12. He did not play again until 2011-2012, hitting .274/.320/.439 in 67 games. In 2012-2013, he batted .278/.358/.343 and fielded .993 at 1B. He led the league with 39 strikeouts.

I find a 759/701 OPS in the Cuban league to be very insightful.

You have to admit, we're right up there with the Dodgers as far as signing Cubans! LOL

The O's do seem to sign plenty of them.

To be fair, how many teams can afford to spend $1 million on a player?
